Morgan’s Catering, our newest venue addition, propels Morgan’s on Fulton into a one-of-a-kind, full-service private events venue.  Previously, all the food and beverage for Morgan’s on Fulton events was outsourced to top-tier Chicago catering partners.  With the launch of Morgan’s Catering in 2021, James Geier brings that same high level of excellence in-house under the tutelage of executive chef Mitch Cavanah.  An industry vet whose worked in some of Chicago’s most acclaimed kitchens like the Peninsula Chicago Hotel, Cavanah brings his casually artistic flair to Morgan’s Catering and Marvin’s Food & Fuel’s culinary programs.  Examples off Cavanah’s spring/summer catering menu include: duck prosciutto, scallop ceviche, tomato caramel glazed pork belly, Beef Wellington with black truffle sauce, braised short rib, herb-crusted rack of lamb, lobster ravioli with saffron tomato sauce, and homemade desserts such as fried apple pie and chocolate chip bread pudding – to name a few.  Cavanah also offers themed-food stations that pay tribute to Chicago’s eclectic neighborhoods, such as The Pilsen (smoked chicken empanadas, tacos carnitas, pulled mushroom tacos, rice, beans) and The Chinatown (duck spring rolls, peanut noodle salad, sesame chicken, black pepper beef, vegetable fried rice).  In addition, all in-house tableware is included with Morgan’s Catering and packages also include access to our professionally curated furniture inventory for one-stop-shop convenience — so there is no need to rent a thing.
